Three
May 22, 2007Three birds fly fleetingly by
Two of them fly swiftly past
The one left just straggles on
And in a moment just stopped
The two whose swiftness was undeterred
Flew back when the one left stopped
The one stopped not out of want
But because that one saw death nearby
Reading
May 21, 2007The great book is filled with facts
Many of which I do not know
Alot of which that fill me
Of the Ideas unknown before
Too much, and too long
That my mind has reached its limit
I am however too excited
To give up on this reading endeavor
The Return - Haiku
The dried earth crackles
Rain falls from the darkened sky
The drought leaves the land
The Inquirer
To question the ways of old
Is a truly daunting task
For it requires the Inquirer
To fear not the consequences that may pass
One's conviction does not always hold fast
Even in times of dire need
Especially when the ardent Inquirer
Clings heavily to the ways in question
Blind Oppression
The notion of The Great Power
Took away what we hold dear
Like the notions of truth and freedom
Even knowledge that makes life clear
Beliefs of such matter
Forged movements good and fell
Giving a sense of fulfillment to those who follow
Unknowingly oppressing the ones who do not
Dove
May 18, 2007A bleeding dove straggles aloft
The people weep from down below
A noble cause is far and gone
Since the tyrant's fist is great and strong
The people's might is now a glow
No longer brimming with force
For the hope of freedom bleeds greatly still
The white dove now dies in grim
A Spring Morning - Haiku
Spring wildflowers bloom
A breeze sweeps the colored fields
Morning dew glistens
A Poem of Heat
Dark clouds writhe in the sky
Swirling about the summer heat
Trapping warmth from the weary earth
Kindling the humidity
Tired folk sweat and squirm
Begging Providence for release
Yet all is nearly lost
For the earth is cought in flame
Another Poem
May 15, 2007A lone man weeps
With arms stretched up high
A weep of solace not of sorrow
For no good thing has gone awry
Nor innocence lost or gone astray
He weeps out of joy
For he has seen an angel
Amongst humans as unholy as he is
A being though still human
Shows light most uncommon
He weeps for he is reminded
Of the many things he must do
Of the many things he must become
To be an Angel such as her
An example, that all must see
Life is for the people to share
Or so he believes
So that no second must be lost
To any unjust cause
Life must be for good, for the good of all
A ripened fruit drops
To rot upon the parched soil
Giving it new life
Brain Dump - Poem
May 14, 2007So long I have not
Put my feelings in this shape
A form flowing and fleeting
Into areas rare as of late
Too dreary my mind is
Full of sorrow and weakness
Making me feel like a lower human
Much less compared to everyone else
A Human so low and so weak
Things such as this are hard to make
Too long I have allowed
People so evil to push me down
Making my esteem insignificant
Since I thought their’s is more important
Yet this I have realized
That no one should be pushed around
For all humans high or low
Are all equal in their rights
All should respect what each other has to say
And all should accept who each other is
For only hate and chaos will ensue
If pride and personal gain will prevail
Though this I must say
That rights I don’t always respect
Since at times anger and malice takes it toll
Releasing my evil to my oppressors
These things I must say
For I too need my release
An escape for my emotions
So that I will not hurt everyone else
So I guess this is the first
Of the many poems that will follow next
Writings that will contain
All the emotions my heart has always kept
